Putting Students First

As our appointed Trustee, Gary Chow is continuing his promise to put students first.

• Saved WVUSD elementary music program by paying for 3 teacher salaries for 3 years 
• Funded Mt. SAC Pathways program which provided math and English tutors for students
• Provided funds for on campus jobs for real life work experience in a student’s chosen field of study
• Provided funds to address food insecurity issues which affects 30% of Mt. SAC students
• Committed future funds to increase library book borrowing program
